Retrofit and replace the Coffee Packaging Mechanical Control Panel with a brand new stainless steel enclosure in Oxford, London.
Project Challenges
Challenges we overcome
- Working factory floor control panel swap
- Hygiene constraints
- Limited shutdown time for the heating & vent plant
Project overview
Brit Systems were appointed by The Kraft Heinz Company to retrofit and replace the Coffee Packaging Mechanical Control Panel with a brand new stainless steel enclosure in Oxford, London.
Our expertise was called upon to get the job done right the first time, on time.
The original installation was old and outdated, and with no previous panel schematics, it was down to Brit to ensure the swap was performed swiftly and with the minimum disruption to the main factory.
This particular client also made it clear they wanted the works to be carried out outside their working hours within a dedicated program forming part of a larger works package. Our engineers worked above and beyond to get this work completed, even with a limited shutdown time for the heating and vent plant, but it made our client extremely happy which is always our main focus.
The installation of this specific job was a challenge as we were faced with hygiene constraints due to the environment in which the work was carried out. But we took every precaution possible to make sure we fit within all hygiene guidelines to keep our client satisfied at all times. The installation of each component was completed on time and up to Kraft Foods satisfaction. It was a huge honour for us to work with such a global company.
