Project overview
Brit Systems were appointed as the electrical contractor for NHS Nightingale to deliver and instal critical alarms due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
NHS Nightingale Yorkshire and the Humber is a temporary hospital, based at Harrogate Convention Centre to provide 500 additional critical care beds in the region, should they be needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. It goes without saying that BritSystems are honoured to be given the opportunity to help and assist the NHS throughout such a difficult time.
We were instructed to deliver and instal critical alarms throughout a responsive working environment during the height of the pandemic. To say it was exhilarating would be an understatement, our team of engineers pulled together and devised a plan in order to carry out the installation of multiple control systems houses and work on different areas of the site whilst always adhering to strict social distancing and hygiene protocols.
We were delighted to succeed the client’s expectations and whilst performing all different duties from AHU works to critical alarms. All targets set by the client were met and it is safe to say, the entire team received a great sense of achievement and satisfaction during and after the project installation.
